Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. KEMAPCO Announces Re-Tender No. 09/2023

Engineering, delivery, installation, start-up, and maintenance of continuous emission monitoring system for N₂O concentration, stack gas flow, data acquisition and storage system at nitric acid plant.

Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. (KEMAPCO) wishes to receive tenders from specialized companies, for the above-mentioned subject at KEMAPCO Plant Site in Aqaba, in accordance to the specifications and conditions stated in the Tender Documents, This Tender takes place in the context of the Nitric Acid Climate Action Group (NACAG) initiative and is funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Suppliers who wish to participate in this tender should comply with the tender requirements, and this should be confirmed in detail in submitted offers.

Accessing and Purchasing Tender Documents

1. Initial Access (General Instructions and NDA):

• Interested tenderer will initially receive the General Instructions and Annexes for the tender via Email after expressing interest in participation.
• To gain access to the Full Tender Documents, interested tenderer must complete, sign, and stamp the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) found in Annex G, and submit it as a soft copy.

2. Purchasing Full Tender Documents:

• After submitting the NDA, the interested tenderer can purchase the full Tender Documents, starting from Monday, December 23^rd, 2024.
• The cost for the documents is 200 JDs (non-refundable). Can be paid in Amman offices, Amman, Abdali, Suleiman Al-Nabulsi Street building no. (30) 2^nd Floor, Or deposit to our bank account. also interested tenderers can transfer the documents fees by wire transfer.
• Tender documents are available to be received online or in person at the Amman Office (Amman, Abdali, Suleiman Al-Nabulsi Street, Building 30, 2^nd Floor).

Note: Suppliers who purchased the original documents for Re-Tender No. 09/2023 have the right to obtain all tender documents at once at no additional cost and under the terms of their already signed NDA.

3. Required Documentation at Purchase of Full Tender Documents:

• Submission of the NDA as specified.
• A valid copy of the registration certificate for the tenderer.

Considerations for Suppliers Who Wish to Submit an Offer

• For suppliers who wish to submit an offer after purchasing the Tender Documents, please take into account the following information:The Tenderer shall furnish as part of his Offer a Tender Bond in the form of a Bank Guarantee in the amount of 10,000 EUR, valid for a period of 120 days from the tender submission date, and issued by a bank licensed in Jordan or from a bank licensed in EU, or from a non-EU abroad reputable bank provided that non-EU bank bonds are confirmed from a licensed bank in Jordan.

• Participating tenderers will be allowed to visit the Site prior to the closing date of the Tender. The site visit will be on 13^th of January 2025, at 10:00 am Jordan Time at KEMAPCO workplace in Aqaba, Southern industrial area near the new port. A prospective tenderer requiring any clarification of the

Tender Documents may notify Kemapco in writing to cems.tender@kemapco.com, or by facsimile at  Kemapco address indicated below not later than 22^nd of January 2025.

• The last day for answering the tenderers queries will be on 5^th of February 2025.

• Offers shall be submitted in sealed envelopes as stated in the Tender Documents. The closing date for offer submission is 5^th of March 2025 15:00 Jordan time at Amman offices of Arab Fertilizers & Chemicals Industries Ltd or via the carrier. Offers shall be valid for 120 days from the said Tender submission date. Arab Fertilizers & Chemicals Industries Ltd. holds no obligations to award the Tender to the lowest price offer or any offer and shall consider the criteria mentioned in the tender documents for the evaluation.
• All suppliers submitting an offer must comply with the requirements established in the Tender Documents.
