Invitation to Tender No.10/2026

INSURANCE OF THE PLANTS AND PRODUCTS

 

The Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. (KEMAPCO), invites eligible and suitably qualified Jordanian Insurance Companies to submit their offer in accordance with the instructions and conditions described in the Tender Documents.

The scope of Insurance is as follows and for two years starting August 1st, 2026:

  1. Property Damage, Machinery Breakdown and Business Interruption.
  2. Commercial General Third Party and Products Liability.
  3. Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Interested Jordanian Insurance Companies, who wish to participate in the above tender  and are capable of Insuring & Reinsuring KEMAPCO’s above mentioned policies with Reinsurance companies classified according to minimum of the second group of the table classifying foreign reinsurance companies mentioned in the Central Bank of Jordan’s instructions on the solvency requirements for insurance companies for the year 2023 however, leader and high participating shares 10% and above has to be from the first group rated by A.M. Best and/or Standard and Poor's and/or Fitch and/or Moody’s rating agencies of no lower than (A-) , are invited to purchase the Tender Documents from Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. (KEMAPCO) at the below mentioned address, starting Monday, 1st June, 2026 within the office hours from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm and subject to the following:

  1.  Solvency and Rating Requirements: Insurance Companies has to have a solvency margin 150% and above Rating requirement will be taken into consideration when evaluating offers but does not prevent any company from purchasing tender documents and presenting its offer. Any company is less than the required solvency margin shall be excluded.
  2. History of previous tenders: in the local market are taken into consideration, therefore, please submit names of any similar general insurance tenders had been accepted and fully deployed by the insurance company.

 

  1. Licensed Insurers Only: Only specialized Jordanian Insurance companies that are duly licensed to carry out Property All Risks, Business Interruption, and General Liability insurance will be permitted to purchase the Tender Documents. Therefore, a valid copy of the Insurance company’s registration certificate and license under the Jordanian Law shall be made available at the time of Purchase of the Tender Documents.

 

  1. Cost of Tender Documents: Tender documents shall be purchased against non-refundable payment of JOD 100.00 (One Hundred Jordanian Dinars).
  2. Tender Bid Bond Security: Tenders shall be furnished with a Tender Security in the amount of JD 10,000 (Ten Thousand Jordanian Dinar) in a separate sealed envelope, in the form of an unconditional bank guarantee issued by a licensed local Jordanian bank. The Bid Bond security shall be valid for a minimum period of 90 days from the Tender submission date. Tenders not accompanied by the required Bid Bond will be rejected without evaluation.
  3. Risk Engineering Inspection: specialized Jordanian Insurance companies, wishing to participate are required to arrange and conduct a professional third-party risk engineering inspection / survey of KEMAPCO current assets for insurance purposes, prepare a Risk Survey Report, at their own expense and responsibility, the full risk survey report shall be submitted together with the technical offer.

 

  1. Clarifications: A prospective Tenderer requiring any clarification of the Tender Documents may notify KEMAPCO in writing not later than. Monday June 15th, 2026

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Submission Tender: offers shall be submitted in sealed envelopes; the deadline for Tender submission is at 14:00 hrs. on Tuesday, 30th June, 2026 at Amman office of Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. (KEMAPCO). Tenders received after this date and time will not be accepted under any circumstances. Tenders shall remain valid for 60 days from the said Tender Submission date.

 

  1. Responsive Tenders: Submitted Tenders shall be fully responsive to the all requirements set out in the Tender Documents.  Any offer found to be non-responsive shall be rejected.

 

  1. KEMAPCO’s RIGHT: The Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. KEMAPCO holds no obligation to award the Tender to the lowest price and reserves its right to accept or reject any Tender fully or partially, and to annul the tendering process and reject all Tenders, at any time prior to awarding, without incurring any liability to any affected Tenderer or any obligation to state the grounds for Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. KEMAPCO’s  decision.
