The Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. KEMAPCO Announces Tender No. 01/2024

Engineering, delivery, Supervision of installation and commissioning of secondary Nitrous Oxide abatement technology at nitric acid plant

Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Ltd. (KEMAPCO) wishes to receive offers from specialized companies, for the above-mentioned subject at KEMAPCO Plant Site in Aqaba, in accordance to the specifications and conditions stated in the Tender Documents, This Tender takes place in the context of the Nitric Acid Climate Action Group (NACAG) initiative and is funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Suppliers who wish to participate in this tender should be specialized in this scope and have a qualified team capable of performing such duties, and this should be confirmed in detail in submitted offers.

The interested bidder will receive the General Instructions only; if interested, Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in Annex G Shall be filled, signed, stamped and submitted as soft copy within one week from the date of receiving this part; afterwards, the tenderer will have access to the remaining documents. Tender Documents may be purchased from Arab Fertilizers & Chemicals Industries Ltd. KEMAPCO at the following address: Amman offices, Amman, Abdali, Suleiman Al-Nabulsi Street building no. (30) 2^nd Floor, at a total Cost of _300 JDs__ nonrefundable, subject to the following:

1. A valid copy of the tenderer’s registration shall be made available at the time of purchase of the Tender and the certified agreement in case of joint ventures.
2. Offers shall be furnished with a Tender Security in the form of a Bank Guarantee in the amount of 15,000 EUR, valid for a period of 120 days from the offers submission date and issued by a bank licensed in Jordan or from an abroad reputable bank provided the said bond is confirmed from a licensed bank in Jordan.
3. Participating tenderers will be allowed to visit the Site prior to the closing date of the Tender. The site visit will be on Monday 20^th of May 2024, at 10:00 am Jordan Time at KEMAPCO workplace in Aqaba, Southern industrial area near the new port.
4. A prospective tenderer requiring any clarification of the Tender Documents may notify the Employer in writing to gh.tender@kemapco.com, or by facsimile at the Employer address indicated below not later than Monday May 27^th, 2024.
5. The last day for answering the tenderers queries will be on, Thursday the 13^th of June 2024.
6. The offers shall be submitted in sealed envelopes as stated in the Tender Documents. The closing date for offer submission is Monday June 2024 30^th at 3:00 p.m. Jordan Time at Amman offices of The Arab Fertilizers & Chemicals Industries Ltd. KEMAPCO. Offers shall be valid for 120 days from the said Tender submission date.
7. Arab Fertilizers & Chemicals Industries Ltd. holds no obligations to award the Tender to the lowest price offer or any offer and shall consider the criteria mentioned in the tender documents for the evaluation.
